RisoLAB SVA Tour with artist Panayiotis Terzis

RisoLAB at the University of Fine Arts opened in 2015 and offers courses in RISOGRAPH reprographic printing for artists such as cartoonists, illustrators, designers and others. The program is convenient and can be found on the SVA campus in NYC.

Panagiotis Tercis is an artist and world-renowned professor of RISOGRAPHY, the ink printing process used in these RISO digital duplicating devices (according to the labels on them, appropriately supported by LDI Connect!).

Phil Hutinet is very active in the Washington DC arts community and edits local newsletters East Town ArtHighlighting local artists and events.

Phil came across RISO Duplicator print art while researching online.

Phil got in touch with me, I called Keith Partridge, the duplication king of RISO, and Keith was kind enough to arrange a tour of the program and a showing of Panayiotis himself!

Here are my pictures and videos from that day:

RISO places more inkjet production equipment year after year than the rest of the industry combined!
